JR Levins welcomes criminal solicitor Kirsty Ruddin to Birkenhead office

JR Levins is pleased to welcome Kirsty Ruddin, Criminal Solicitor, to our Birkenhead office.
Kirsty brings extensive experience in criminal law and has worked across a wide range of matters, from general crime and road traffic cases to more complex and serious offences, including fraud, financial crime, corporate manslaughter, regulatory investigations, inquests and inquiries.
She is a qualified police station and court duty solicitor and an experienced advocate in the criminal courts. As a result, Kirsty is well placed to support clients at every stage of a criminal matter, from the early stages of a police investigation through to representation before the courts.
Alongside her criminal defence work, Kirsty has also prosecuted cases on behalf of organisations including the Environment Agency, Royal Mail and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. This broad experience gives her a strong understanding of criminal cases from different angles, which helps her provide clear, practical advice to clients facing difficult situations.
Kirsty has also supported witnesses involved in a major public inquiry attracting significant media attention. In addition, she is able to represent members of the armed forces in relation to Military Law matters.
As a solicitor, Kirsty is known for her thorough approach and her ability to assess complex information carefully. Just as importantly, she explains matters in a straightforward and easy-to-understand way, helping clients feel informed and supported throughout the process. She is naturally tenacious and committed to helping her clients pursue the best possible outcome.
Kirsty is based at our Birkenhead office and is part of JR Levins’ wider criminal defence team, supporting clients with clear, dependable legal advice when they need it most.
Outside of work, Kirsty enjoys travelling, coaching, watching Liverpool FC and spending time with her German Shepherd, Marlow.
